The Standard Room is a 15-square-meter retreat that distills everything The Lewis House stands for into an intimate, well-considered space. A plush queen-size bed sits against original panelled walls, flanked by mid-century bedside lamps that cast a warm glow at night. The en suite bathroom is finished with clean modern fixtures and bathing products in dispensers.
The room comes with a work desk, wardrobe, air conditioning, and keycard access to the guest floor balcony, which looks out onto the property's courtyard. An excellent choice for couples seeking a relaxing retreat or solo travelers who appreciate character over square footage.
Deluxe Room
The Deluxe Room adds two more square meters and a noticeably elevated sense of space. At 17 sqm, it offers slightly more room to breathe — a comfortable work desk, a full-length standing mirror, and the same queen-size bed with the character-rich detailing the house is known for.
The bathroom features a private toilet and bath with hot and cold shower, bidet, and bathing amenities. The large windows — fitted with the original louvred panels — let the morning light filter in at just the right angle. Ideal for couples looking for a cozy and relaxing getaway, or a solo guest who wants a little extra elbow room.
Superior Room
Located on the second floor, the Superior Room is the most spacious of our standard room offerings at 25 square meters. The walls are clad in original teak-toned panelling, and the room is anchored by a plush queen-size bed dressed in crisp white linens. The vintage mustard lounge chair in the corner is the kind of detail that makes guests linger longer than planned.
Three hexagonal backlit panels above the headboard give the room a distinct character — part gallery, part guestroom — that photographs beautifully and feels even better in person. The private en suite bathroom is modern and complete. The most spacious standard option for guests who want generous personal space without moving to a suite.
Family Suite
At 42 square meters, the Family Suite is The Lewis House's grandest accommodation — a room that unfolds generously across original hardwood floors, with a plush king-size bed, a separate lounge area with a single sofa bed, and a private en suite toilet and bath. The suite is light-filled, quiet, and surrounded by the building's original architectural character at its most expressive.
The lounge area is ideal for families traveling with children, groups of friends, or any guest who simply wants room to settle in and feel at home. A dedicated work desk, wardrobe, and bedside area round out the space. The Family Suite accommodates up to three adults comfortably, with the single sofa bed providing additional sleeping capacity for a fourth guest if needed.
